SEE YOU SOON PALESTINE


Questo è il post più difficile. 
Il post dei saluti.
Il momento di partire, il momento di lasciare la Palestina, alla fine è arrivato. Fra pochi giorni tornerò in Italia (o sono già tornato? "Cara" polizia israeliana di confine, non voglio rendervi il lavoro così semplice...). 
Ma non mi fermerò in Italia, dopo poco riprenderò un aereo e volerò in Sud America, un continente a me caro, dove ho vissuto e lasciato il cuore e tanti ricordi stupendi, un continente che mi ha cambiato la vita. 
Lavorerò, incontrerò persone, e indossando sempre la mia kefiah parlerò con più gente possibile perchè anche dall'altra parte dell'oceano sappiano cosa succede in Palestina, sperando così che tutte le persone che subiscono continuamente la violenza del potere, possano un giorno unirsi in una lotta comune per la conquista del rispetto dei diritti umani e della libertà.
Saluto e abbraccio i palestinesi tutti che mi hanno accolto come un figlio, e i miei compagni dell'ISM, che rimarranno sempre nel mio cuore: ritornerò presto, non perchè voi abbiate bisogno di me, che sono uno dei tanti, ma piuttosto perchè io ho bisogno di voi. Mi avete insegnato cosa è la libertà e non posso più vivere senza.
Non so se riuscirò a continuare a scrivere su questo blog, magari dandovi notizie di ciò che succede in Sud America, quindi per il momento vi saluto e vi ringrazio di avermi letto.
Un abbraccio grande e resistente da... qualche parte del mondo.




SEE YOU SOON PALESTINE



This is the most difficult post I've never written.
The post of the greetings.
The time to leave, time to fly away from Palestine, finally is coming. In a few days I'll go back to Italy (or maybe I've already left? "Dear" Israeli border police, I don't want to make your job easy...).
But I'll not stop in Italy, shortly after I'll fly to South America, a continent I love, where I lived and where I left my heart and a lot of wonderful memories, a continent that changed my life.
I'll work, I'll meet people, and always wearing my kefiah I'll talk with as many people as possible so that also people on the other side of the ocean know what's happening in Palestine, with the hope that all the people, who suffer constant violence by the power, can join together to fight to conquer the respect of the human rights and the freedom.
I greet and I hug all the Palestinians who welcomed me like a child, and my ISMers comrades, which will always stay in my heart: I'll return soon, not because you need me, who I'm one of many, but rather because I need you. You taught me freedom and now I can't live without it.
I don't know if I'll be able to continue to write on this blog, giving you news about Suoth America, so now I say goodbye to you and I thank you for have read me.

VIVA L'INFORMAZIONE

QUALCOSA NON MI TORNA

C'è qualcosa che vorrei scrivere riguardo le attenzioni che la stampa internazionale ha riservato agli ultimi avvenimenti accaduti qui in West Bank.

La notizia del nostro compagno danese colpito in faccia con un fucile M-16 e la conseguente sospensione dell'ufficiale israeliano, è stata diffusa e condivisa da decine e decine di siti internet di informazione, riportata da moltissimi quotidiani nazionali ed internazionali, e mostrata da diverse televisioni anche europee.

In Italia, ad esempio, su diversi siti internet di informazione, è stato dato molto risalto ai due italiani (arrivati a Tel Aviv con la Flytilla) detenuti per 12 ore nelle carceri israeliane, o al signore italiano (sempre della Flytilla) che invece è riuscito ad entrare in Palestina.

Finalmente si parla di ciò che succede da queste parti, in modo che tutti riescano a farsi un'idea di come Israele non sia in realtà una democrazia, ma piuttosto un paese governato da fanatici razzisti che con il terrore cercano da anni di portare avanti una pulizia etnica inaccettabile in qualsiasi epoca storica, tanto più oggi, nel ventunesimo secolo.

Ma la mia paura è che se ne parli tanto adesso solo perchè sono coinvolti gli internazionali. E quando per anni, le stesse ingiustizie sono state subite quotidianamente dai palestinesi, perchè nessun giornale si è scomodato? Perchè nessun ufficiale è stato sospeso? Non siamo tutti esseri umani? Gli europei sono più importanti dei palestinesi?

Che schifo!

THERE IS SOMETHIG WRONG

There's something I want to tell about the attention that the international press has given to recent events happened here in the West Bank.

The news of our Danish mate hit in the face with an M-16 rifle and the resulting suspension of the Israeli officer, was distributed and shared by dozens and dozens of information websites, reported by many national and international newspapers, and shown by several European television stations also.

In Italy, for example, on various websites, it has been given much prominence to the two Italians (who arrived in Tel Aviv with the Flytilla) imprisoned in Israeli jails for 12 hours, or to the Italian gentleman (always with the Flytilla), which has been able to enter in Palestine.

At last we talk about what happens around here, so that all people can get an idea of how Israel is not really a democracy, but rather a country ruled by fanatical racists who try by terror to realize an ethnic cleansing unacceptable in any historical period, especially in the twenty-first century.

But my fear is that we speak now about Palestine only because internationals are involved. And when every day, for years, Palestinians were suffering the same injustices, why no newspaper reported the news? Why no officer has been suspended? Don't we are all human beings? Are the Europeans more important than the Palestinians?

That's disgusting!

Perchè tutto questo? Solo perchè stavano circolando in strade riservate agli israeliani!
Se per voi il comportamento dell'esercito israeliano è normale e giustificato, continuate tranquillamente a fare le vostre vite ma smettete di leggermi, che non serve a niente. Se invece vi indignate, per favore fate conoscere questo schifo al mondo intero intasando di telefonate, mail, messaggi o cosa volete voi le redazioni dei giornali , delle TV delle ambasciate, postate il video e le foto sui vostri blog (se ne avete), fatele vedere agli amici, inventatevi qualcosa ma iniziate anche voi ad alzare la voce, altrimenti le botte che noi prendiamo qua sono inutili. Vi prego iniziate a fare qualcosa di concreto, tutti insieme riusciremo a farci sentire!

Why this violence? Only because they were circulating in roads only for Israelis!
If you believe that the Israeli army behavior is normal and justified, you can continue to make your lives quietly but stop to read my blog, because it's useless. If instead you're angry, please spread this shit to the whole world by phone calls, emails, or what you want and send it to editors of newspapers, TV, embassies, post the videos and the photos on your blog (if you have one), show it to your friends, invent something but you also start to raise your voice, otherwise we get a beating here needlessly. Please start to do something concrete, all together we'll be able to be felt!

Questa la mia seconda intervista per Radio Onda d'Urto

DEPORTAZIONE

VIOLENTI E FALSI

In questi giorni è in corso la Conferenza Internazionale per la Resistenza Popolare di Bil'in nella quale partecipano, oltre ai palestinesi, numerose rappresentative di vari Paesi, fra cui l'Italia.

Il 12 aprile 2012, la Conferenza itinerante ha fatto tappa ad Hebron.

Appena finita la pausa pranzo, i partecipanti alla Conferenza di ritorno dal ristorante sono stati improvvisamente ed inspiegabilmente attaccati dall'esercito israeliano.

Il risultato di questo blitz a parte alcuni feriti, almeno 12 persone arrestate di cui alcune rilasciate dopo poche ore.

La polizia israeliana ha deciso in serata di confermare l'arresto di due palestinesi, fra cui l'organizzatore della Conferenza e di due italiani fra cui un nostro compagno dell'ISM.

Fino a tarda serata non ci è stato possibile avere notizie precise riguardo le loro condizioni.

Le accuse assolutamente false a loro carico: violenza sui militari e partecipazione a manifestazione non autorizzata.

A parte il fatto che non era in corso nessuna manifestazione giudicate voi dai video chi è che usa violenza.

La mattina del 13 aprile abbiamo appreso che i due italiani verranno deportati forzatamente in Italia senza neanche avere diritto ad un processo per difendersi dalle accuse assolutamente false!
L'ultima notizia è che uno dei due italiani ha rifiutato la deportazione, vedremo questo cosa comporterà.

Visto che sono certo che a livello ufficiale non verrà fatta nessuna protesta vi chiedo di intasare la posta dei vari quotidiani nazionali, dell'ambasciata, dei politici e di chiunque abbia un minimo di visibilità e “potere” per chiedere chiarezza sull'accaduto.

È ora che Israele la smetta con questa politica arbitraria, dittatoriale e terrorista! È ora di alzare la voce e che un coro di protesta popolare ricopra i loro ridicoli piagnistei di antisemitismo quando qualcuno prova a criticare lo stato di Israele. Il primo nemico di Israele è la sua stessa politica razzista e inumana!

VIOLENT AND FALSE

In these days it's in progress the International Conference of Popular Resistance in Bil'in in which, as well as Palestinians, representing of many different countries, including Italy are attending.

On April 12 2012, the itinerant Conference has stopped in Hebron.
Just after lunch, conference participants returning from the restaurant were suddenly and inexplicably attacked by the Israeli army.
The result of this blitz apart from some wounded at least 12 people arrested some of them released after a few hours.
The Israeli police decided last night to confirm the arrest of two Palestinians, including the organizer of the Conference, and two Italians including one of our ISM comrades.
Until the night it was no possible to have precise information about their conditions.
Absolutely false charges against them: violence against soldiers and participation in an unauthorized demonstration.
Apart from the fact that it was no demonstration you can judge by yourself watching the videos who is using violence.
On April 13 in the morning we have heard that the two Italians will be forcibly deported to Italy without even having the right to defend themselves against totally false charges!
Breaking news: one of the two italian men refused the deportation, we'll see the consequences of this choose.
Since I am certain that at the official level they will not protest I ask you to overload phone and mail of several national newspapers, of the embassy, of politicians and of anyone with the necessary visibility and "power" to ask for clarification about it.

It is time for Israel to stop this arbitrary, dictatorial and terrorist policy! It is time to raise our voice and that a chorus of popular protest covers their ridiculous whining about anti-Semitism when someone tries to criticize the state of Israel. The first enemy of Israel it's own racist and inhuman policy!
